About the Nugget Makers

Hi everyone!  Welcome to our story.  I feel like Dufda and I are a special couple, which I guess everyone should feel that way about their marriage.  Anyway here is a little more about the two of us.

I am from a little town called Glassport, Pa, but I tell everyone I live in Pittsburgh because it is easier.  I lived in the same house my whole life till I moved to Athens, Ohio to go to college.  Just about the same time I also moved into the little house, still in Glassport, we now call home.
When I googled Glassport, Pa images, this was on of the first ones!  My dad owns this place, if you need your car fixed or would like to buy a used Honda give him a Call!

After 4+ years of college, I took a job in Athens, OH and decided to make it my home.  I was super passionate about what I was doing, but just couldn't fall in love with Athens because I had gradually grown out of the demographic that was the majority there.
I love Athens!!

This made finding someone who I was going to spend the rest of my life with very difficult since everyone was younger than me and also had no desire or intention of staying in Athens.  I had went as far as to join eHarmony and try online dating.  Now don't knock it till you try it!  It was great for my situation, and I suggest it to everyone who is having doubts about finding "the one".  I was actually hanging out by myself checking my eHarmony matches, when I randomly met Dufda.  We had hung out in the same places, and knew many of the same people, but never actually met each other.

Now Dufda, he is great!  He was attending Ohio University for his master's and was just about to graduate.   When I first met him, he told me he was from Columbus, which I totally believed because he spoke perfect English.  I late found out that he was actually for Jordan, and was not American, but this didn't bother me at all.

Flash forward, to October 2011, we moved to Glassport, got married, and started our lives together.  I still work in student housing, which I have lost my passion for, but I am hanging in there.  We really don't know where we want to live, but Athens would be fantastic.

I have "been" a million things growing up: dancer, cheerleader, sorority girl, rower, skydiver, marathoner, but I knew since I was about 12 I wanted to be a mom, so at least I got that taken care of.  I know it will all work out in the end and we will have the best little family there is.
